A masthead sloop utilising aluminium alloy mast and boom by Selden Masts, badged as a Kemp spar, supported by 1x19 s/s standing rigging; single forestay, with a Rotostay rollerreefing system fitted, cap shrouds, a babystay, and aft lowers to spreader level, with a single, bi-furcated backstay.
The standing rigging has been replaced, reportedly in 2006.
The original boom has been replaced with a more modern section that accommodates a
single-line reefing system for the first two slab reefs to the mainsail. the third reef is
retained, but remains as original, relying on the original 'ram' horns at the gooseneck.
The kicking strap was replaced with a rod kicker, at same time as the boom was replaced.
The vessel's inventory includes a telescopic pole that combines with a vertical pole stowage system, fitted to the front face of the mast, to ensure an uncluttered deck area.
The vessel is being sold with the following sail wardrobe:
• Mainsail by Ratsey & Lapthorn, of the same age as the vessel.
• Cross cut roller reefing genoa by Ratsey & Lapthorn of the same age.
• Asymmetric spinnaker (Cruising chute), little used and in 'turtle' bag.
