With attractive lines, easily handled and intended to offer a satisfying performance to experienced sailors, the Sadler 29 also offers the benefits of 'unsinkability' and insulation through the use of space-filling foam between the hull inner moulding. 

 

This lovely late example; twin-keeled Sadler 29 is a beauty to behold. Hugh amounts of someone else's money has been spent on her over the years, even culminating in the fitting of a modern in-boom reefing system for the mainsail, only last year - all money that will not be recovered in the market value of 'Domino' but will ensure that she should sell relatively quickly. Recent instrumentation, recent sails, replacement cooker, replacement upholstery, fresh sprayhood - are all star items, and they are complemented by the clean woodwork, later style stanchion bases, additional roof hatch and the three toughen glass window arrangements of the late examples of this class. 

 

'Domino' will appeal for the quality of presentation; her shoal draught and ability to dry out - or to be laid ashore without needing a storage cradle. She represents a straightforward and economic boat to enjoy and to take pride in.

Rigged as a masthead sloop rig on aluminium alloy mast & boom by Selden, but badged by Kemp Masts of Titchfield and a Furlex roller reefing fitted to the for'stay for the headsail. 

A new Jon Mast Hi-Low Reefer in-boom system was fitted in 2022 along with a new Jon Mast rod kicker to assist in supporting the boom when reefing the mainsail. 

 

Standing rigging dates from 2009, but was professionally checked in 2019

Lewmar 40, Self-tailing two-speed primary headsail sheet winches.

Replacement 'in-boom' mainsail with tape luff fitted at the same time as the new in-boom system (2022).
